HLA Pops Up at AEON MALL Shah Alam
HLA, the Chinese menswear label that has been expanding aggressively across Malaysian malls, has opened a grand opening pop-up at AEON MALL Shah Alam running 13 to 31 July 2026. The pop-up sits at Lot G18 on the ground floor, and the headline offer is 20% off the HLA range for the duration of the run. Entry to the pop-up is free, and you do not need an AEON membership to shop the discount.
The timing is deliberate. The pop-up overlaps with the AEON MALL Shah Alam July Events programme and the Uniqlo special redemption, which also runs 13 to 31 July. For a shopper already heading to the mall for the health screenings or the LRT3 opening redemption, the HLA pop-up sits on the same floor as Uniqlo (Lot G39), so you can hit both in one loop.
What HLA actually sells
HLA is positioned as affordable, mid-market menswear with a focus on basics, knitwear and casual tailoring. The range that lands best in the Malaysian market is the everyday workwear: chinos, Oxford shirts, polo tees and lightweight blazers that survive a humid climate. The 20% off applies across the pop-up range, which is the standard grand-opening mechanic the brand runs at new mall openings.
If you have not shopped HLA before, the sizing runs on an Asian fit. A European medium is closer to a HLA large. Try before you buy, because the pop-up return policy is stricter than a permanent store.
The Uniqlo redemption that stacks
The Uniqlo redemption running alongside the HLA pop-up is the better deal if you are already spending. Spend a minimum of RM150 at the Uniqlo outlet at Lot G39, take the receipt to the Information Counter on a weekday, and you get a RM10 AEON Reward Voucher. The catch is that it is weekdays only, capped at the first 100 customers per day, and one redemption per person.
The smart play is to combine the two: buy your basics at HLA with 20% off, then do a separate RM150 spend at Uniqlo, redeem the RM10 voucher, and use it against a third purchase. The HLA discount and the Uniqlo redemption do not stack at the till, but they do stack across a single shopping trip.

AEON MALL Shah Alam is at No.1, Jalan Akuatik 13/64, Seksyen 13, 40100 Shah Alam. The LRT3 Stadium Shah Alam station is the nearest stop on the new Shah Alam Line, and there is an LRT3 opening redemption running until 31 July that gives you an exclusive token if you spend RM50 and show proof of LRT3 travel. If you are coming by train, that is a third freebie to stack.
The HLA pop-up is on the ground floor, near the centre court. Mall hours are 10am to 10pm Sunday to Thursday, and 10am to 10:30pm Friday and Saturday. The pop-up runs for the full mall day.
