A ridiculous joke. I want to believe they forgot to put the sauce in my mee pok dry because why else would it taste completely devoid of any hint of umami? Or have the standards dropped so low these days that starch-flavored noodles are considered delicious? Just...no.

At $3, I got a good serving of handmade 4 fishballs, 1 mixed pork & fishball and slices of fish cake. The fishballs were quite bland actually. The amount of mee pok given was quite generous which I couldn’t finish it. The chilli sauce mixture was tasty and nice though felt thirsty thereafter.
