The location is a little bit secluded as it is located on the way to the bridge connecting Sunway Pyramid mall to BRT Sunway Lagoon. The resto is huge, but during our visit only 4 staff are manning the dining area. The crowd was ok, not full but not empty either. Food and service is what you can expect from sushi zanmai. Went during weekend, the table is unattended by waiter due to lack of staff so we have to wait for table quite a while. Service is great. Food is delicious and exceptional like always. The Spicy Ramen (S) is quite filling together with sushi moriwase.

The service was fast and efficient. Even the place was well maintained and near. If you're going in a big group then need to book earlier because this place is always occupied especially during peak hours. The prices for the food were also reasonable.

Sushi Zanmai has always been my top choice for Japanese food. The prices are reasonable, and although the portions have gotten slightly smaller, the taste is still good — much better than many other sushi chains. Their sister brand, Rakuzen, is just opposite. The food is quite similar, but the prices are significantly higher.
