I recently dined at Black Canyon Restaurant in Setia City Mall and ordered the Pad Thai Value Set, which came with Tom Yam Soup and an Ice Lemon Tea. Overall, it was a satisfying meal with a few highlights worth mentioning. The Pad Thai was the standout dish for me. It was well-cooked and had a great balance of flavors, with the perfect mix of sweetness and savory elements. The peanuts added a nice crunch, which gave the dish an enjoyable texture. It was a hearty and delicious plate that I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys Thai cuisine. The Tom Yam Soup, which came as part of the set, had a mild level of spice. It would be great for someone who enjoys a bit of heat without it being too overpowering. However, I personally prefer my Tom Yam to have a stronger sour note, and this one was a bit more subdued than what I’m used to. Still, it had a good depth of flavor, and it wasn’t too spicy, making it a good option for those with a milder palate. The Ice Lemon Tea was refreshing and paired well with the meal, especially after the slightly spicy Tom Yam. It wasn’t too sweet, which I appreciated, and it had just the right amount of citrus to make it light and enjoyable. Overall, Black Canyon offers a decent Thai dining experience with a variety of dishes. It’s a great place to enjoy a quick meal, especially if you’re looking for something light and flavorful in Setia City Mall.
